This year’s Currents conference is April 17 at Kennesaw State University. We’re excited to welcome Tom Johnson (www.idratherbewriting.com) as the keynote speaker. The STC Atlanta Chapter is 30 years old this year! During the 2010 awards banquet, we’ll be doing more than presenting the STC Competition Awards and President’s Awards. We’ll be celebrating all of our achievements throughout the past 30 years and looking forward to continued years of learning and fun. Several of our past presidents will be in attendance. We’ll enjoy great food, watch a slideshow celebrating the last 30 years (with pictures), and have a great time with old and new friends. We hope to see you there!

Every year, the Atlanta Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication awards a scholarship to a junior or senior college student who is pursuing a career in technical communication. We’re now accepting applications for this year’s David C. Leonard scholarship.

If you or someone else you know is interested, you can find out more information on the Scholarship page. Applications will be accepted through March 31, 2010.
