Instructional Designer/Trainer – Can Be Done Remotely

Length: Ongoing
Rate: 1099 BOE

A company that develops a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) for restaurants and retail companies is looking for an Instructional Designer / Trainer.

The client does not have a training department and is looking for a contract Instructional Designer/Trainer to provide those services. The initial engagement will be for several weeks to overhaul the existing courseware, but if the project goes well the contract should be extended indefinitely to create instructor-lead training for new software products and then train clients on new products that the client is launching.

The client is located in Atlanta, GA and Savannah, GA. The SME in charge of the project is in Atlanta, so that is where initial meetings will take place to gather requirements. Work can then be done from a home office.

While the client is willing to cover travel expenses for non-local candidates, candidates within an easy drive of either Atlanta or Savannah will receive first consideration.

They are also looking for someone with prior experience with a related product, so you MUST have experience with one or more of the following to be considered: Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Requirements

  • Current experience designing courseware for stand-up training (Required)
  • Current experience as a stand-up trainer (Required)

  • Experience as a Courseware Developer / Trainer for retail companies or restaurants a major plus
  • Willing and able to travel nationwide to do onsite training (Required)
