STC Atlanta Event, March 12
Integrating Help, Technical Support, and Training Content
Join us at the March 12 STC Atlanta Chapter Meeting to learn how to integrate online Help, technical support knowledge base, and online training video content. Guest speaker Paul Mueller will review the support.smartvault.com web site and talk about the process of creating this information center. We will also explore several technologies, such as Google Analytics, Google Custom Search, and WordPress. Paul will review various lessons learned during this project and describe ways to bring these related content areas together:
- How WordPress and Google Custom Search helped users find the content they need.
- How Google Analytics helps the content team identify how often each topic is viewed.
- How to use WordPress to publish and maintain Technical Support Knowledge Base content.
- How to create one place to go for your users to find the answers they need.

I think the correct link to the support page that this talk will discuss is:
http://www.smartvault.com/support/
Found this after hitting a dead link on the link you provide above and then going to the root site for the right page. Wanted to give the webmaster a heads up.
Well it’s a good feeling to know that SOMEONE reads these posts LOL.
Okay, so the link was not actually broken per se: your browser prevented url redirection; nonetheless, the link now points to the destination site as you correctly suggest above.
Darn that cut and paste!
