A Technical Communicator’s Guide to Twitter

Don’t know whether it’s “tweet” or “twit”? Or did you live-tweet your last family dinner? Technical communicators at both ends of the spectrum can contribute to and benefit from a new project to create a Twitter guide for technical communicators.

Sarah Maddox, a technical writer living in Australia, created a wiki and is looking for contributors. It’s free and collaborative. She writes on her blog:

“We can use Twitter in our documentation, in our careers, and in communication with our peers. How great would it be if we had a technical communicator’s guide to Twitter, written and regularly updated by us!”

Read more about how you can contribute and what you can get out of using Twitter at Maddox’s blog.

  1. Hallo Rachel
Thanks for letting people know about this project! Everyone is welcome to drop by, see what other technical communicators have written about Twitter so far, and add information to the shared pool.
This project brings a whole new meaning to the phrase, “A little bird told me…” ;)
    Cheers, Sarah

  2. Hi, Sarah,
